Live demo · talk to it in your browser

Don't take my word for it. Ring the AI yourself.

This is the real AI receptionist answering for Coastline Electrical, a demo sparky in Geelong. Talk to it like a customer would and watch it work out the job and capture the lead. Nothing is saved. It's a demo.

  1. 1Say what a real customer would: "my switchboard keeps tripping."
  2. 2Watch the job card fill in on the right, urgency and all.

You're the customer. Give it a call.

Talk to it like you're ringing Coastline Electrical, and watch it work out the job. Or put in your own business name when it opens and hear it answer as you.

Try saying

"Hi, my switchboard keeps tripping and I've lost power to half the house." "I need a couple of powerpoints put in, are you around this week?"

What happens

When a call rings out

01

Your phone rings first

The call comes in and rings you, or your crew, as it always has. Just you, you then your offsider, or the whole crew at once.

02

The AI answers

If no one grabs it, the AI picks up in your business's name, has a real back-and-forth, and works out what the caller wants.

03

It gets you the job

It captures the name, the job, the suburb and callback number, spots the urgent ones, and pencils in an AM or PM arrival window from your calendar for you to confirm.

04

The lead lands with you

An instant alert the moment the call wraps, logged to your dashboard and CRM as a lead, ready to action.

Everything it does

A real receptionist, built from AI up.

I ran it on my own line first, so it doesn't sound like a call centre. It answers, holds the conversation, gets you the job, and keeps you in the loop. All on the number you already have.

Answers every call, 24/7

  • Picks up while you're on the tools, up a ladder, or asleep
  • After-hours and weekends, where most missed-call money leaks
  • A natural Australian voice, not a robot menu
  • Honest by design: it says it's your AI assistant, no one feels tricked

Handles the conversation like a person

  • Real back-and-forth, one question at a time, warm and unhurried
  • Reads the callback number back digit by digit
  • Checks in if the caller goes quiet, instead of hanging in silence
  • Knows your business and never invents a price

Gets you the job

  • Available, Busy or Auto handling: put it through, take a message, or transfer in work hours
  • Captures the name, job, suburb and callback, every time
  • Spots the urgent ones and gets them to you fast, not into a queue
  • Pencils a provisional AM or PM arrival window into your calendar for you to confirm
  • Text-back and voicemail fallback, so no lead is left hanging

Keeps you in the loop

  • Instant lead alert the moment a call wraps: name, number, job, urgency
  • Every lead logged to your system, ready to action
  • Every call auto-graded for quality, so it's watched, not hoped for

Reliable and trusted

  • Never a dead line: if anything goes wrong mid-call, it falls back to text-back and voicemail
  • Runs on your existing number, live inside a week, no porting
  • 30-day results guarantee: no job caught, you don't pay that month

Setup done for you

It runs on your existing number and starts answering within minutes of you pointing your missed calls at it. I then tune it to your business and run a test call with you inside the first week. It checks your real calendar during the call and pencils in a provisional AM or PM arrival window for you to confirm, so the job is half-booked before you're off the tools. You confirm every one; it never locks a fixed time.

Real business · not a mockup

This AI answers my own business line, every day, on the number at the top of this page. Ring it yourself before you pay me a cent. I built it because I was missing calls across Ranges and Oscar White while I was on the tools, and that's why I put my name on the 30-day guarantee.

The maths

What your missed calls cost

Fewer than 3 in 100 callers who hit voicemail leave a message. The rest ring the next number. Put your own numbers in and see what that's worth.

Default 33%: the industry pattern that roughly 1 in 3 callers books the next number they ring. Change it to your real strike rate.

Text-back keeps the lead warm. This one picks up. It answers in your business's name, works out who's calling and what the job is, flags the emergencies and puts them through, then texts your link. It checks your real calendar during the call and pencils in a provisional AM or PM arrival window for you to confirm.

  • Everything in Text-back, plus the AI answers
  • 100 answered calls a month included. After that it's a 50-call top-up at $75, or $1.50 a call. Spam, robocalls and hang-ups don't count.
  • Now pencils jobs in as AM or PM arrival windows you confirm, at no extra cost
  • 30-day guarantee: If it doesn't catch you a job in your first 30 days, you don't pay.

Straight answers

The questions you're asking

Will it work with my current number?
Yes. It runs on the number you already have. No porting, no new SIM, no new handset. Your phone keeps ringing exactly as it does now, and the AI only picks up when a call goes unanswered.
Do I need to change phone providers?
No. You stay with whoever you are with now. Nothing about your calls, plan, or carrier changes.
Will callers know it's an AI?
Yes, and that's by design. It introduces itself as your AI assistant, in a natural Australian voice, so no one feels tricked. It never invents a price. If a caller wants a quote, it says you'll sort a proper price and call back.
Who does it ring?
Whoever you choose. Just you, you then your offsider, or the whole crew at once. If no one grabs it, that is when the AI answers, with text-back and voicemail behind it. You set it in your dashboard and can change it any time.
What happens after hours?
The AI answers around the clock. Public holidays and one-off closed days are handled too, so nothing rings out into silence, and every caller still gets the text-back and can leave a voicemail.
What happens if the AI gets stuck?
It never leaves a dead line. If anything goes wrong mid-call it falls back to the missed-call text-back and voicemail, so the lead is always caught one way or another.
What happens to voicemail?
If someone leaves a message it is transcribed and summarised to your phone: what they want, how urgent it is, and the next step. You read and triage without dialling into a mailbox, and hang-ups are filtered out so you are not spammed.
What about my telco voicemail?
Part of the quick setup is switching your telco voicemail off, so the system catches the missed call instead of your carrier dropping it into a mailbox nobody checks. We show you the one setting to change.
Can I text them back?
Yes. You reply to the customer from the same thread, no swapping apps. New leads also land straight in the system you already run so nothing falls through.
Can I see and manage it myself?
Yes. You get a simple dashboard with every call, voicemail and text in one place, a clear map of exactly what happens when a call comes in, and your own setup: choose your greeting voice and hear it first, set your hours and closures, and run a test call. Bigger changes to who rings and in what order go through me for now, so nothing breaks the safety net.
Does it connect to my CRM?
Yes. Every caller is pushed in as a lead, no doubles, with the status you choose. Close works today, ServiceM8 and Tradify are coming. No re-keying, nothing slips between the phone and your pipeline.
What if I already use ServiceM8?
Honest answer: ServiceM8 bundles its own phone agent in Connect Plus, and if you're happy in ServiceM8 you should try that first. Where mine earns its keep is if you want it set up for you on your existing number, a 30-day no-job-caught-no-pay guarantee, and one bloke in Victoria who answers when something needs changing.
Where does the booking link go?
Wherever you want the job to land, your existing booking page, calendar, or a simple form we set up. The link is yours and points at your business.
Does it book the job into my calendar?
Yes, within reason. It checks your real calendar during the call and pencils in a provisional morning or afternoon arrival window, then texts you the details. You confirm every job, and it never locks a fixed to-the-minute time. It's included in your plan at no extra cost.
How quickly can it be switched on?
Two steps, two timeframes. It starts answering within minutes of you pointing your missed calls at it, which is one tap on your phone. Then I tune it to your business and run a test call with you inside the first week. Or book a 15-minute call and we'll do the whole thing together.
Is there a contract, and can I cancel?
No lock-in. Month to month, cancel any time. $79 a month inc GST for text-back, $165 a month inc GST for the AI receptionist, no setup fee on either. And if it doesn't catch you a job in the first 30 days, you don't pay that month.
What exactly counts as "a job caught"?
Fair question, because a guarantee you can't pin down isn't worth much. A caught job is a call you didn't answer where the AI got you a contactable lead you wouldn't otherwise have had: it rang out or your line was busy, the AI picked up, and it came away with a real prospect and a callback number. Spam, robocalls, suppliers and wrong numbers don't count, and they never count against you either. You don't have to win the job, quote it, or even ring them back for it to count, because what you do with a lead is your business, not mine. If a month goes by and there isn't one, that month is refunded in full. And if your phone simply never rang that month, you still don't pay: you bought call capture and you got nothing out of it, so arguing the toss would be a bit rich. The 30 days start when you go live, not when you pay, so a slow bit of setup can't eat your window. I go off the call record, not off whoever argues hardest.
What happens if I go over 100 answered calls?
Text-back has no call limit. On the AI receptionist, 100 answered calls a month are included, and 100 is roughly 23 missed calls a week, well past what a small crew's line normally does. Spam, robocalls and hang-ups aren't counted against you. If you do go past it, it's a 50-call top-up at $75, or $1.50 a call, whichever suits. Your calls keep being answered either way, I don't cut the line off mid-month.

Why me

My own support number rings my phone. When I can't pick up, the AI I built answers it.

I built it to solve my own missed calls across Oscar White and Ranges Cleaning, then made it something I can set up for yours. It's kill-tested and engineered so a caller is never left on a dead line. A trades operator building for trades operators. Not a call centre, and not a ticket queue.
